How do I scan a photo & save it to my computer. I have scanned photos but cannot find the anywhere. Not even on my phone. I would like to have them saved to my documents or downloads.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

When using HP Smart on Mobile phone to scan, you can select the path or folder that you want to save to.

 

Take note of that folder and you can retrieve your scanned files.  (it could be saved to "Downloads" folder)

I'm sorry I don't see the option to save to computer downloads file. I am using my phone to operate scanner.

Hi @Ruthie92 

 

HP Smart mobile (on phone) can only scan and save to the phone.

 

If you want to save to computer, use either the HP Smart or the download the HP FULL featured software on your Win 10 PC.

 

Download the FULL solution from this link:

Download from Software Utility "HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software" which will walk you through to get the HP FULL software solution.
