Scanning problems with deskjet 2320

Has anyone been able to solve scanning problem with Deskjet 2300 Series? Is this at all solvable?,,,,

@OlgaDeskjet2320, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to scan.

To assist you better, kindly elaborate on the issue.

Do you get any errors?

Which app do you use to scan?

 

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix scanning'.

 

Use HP Scan and Capture app from Microsoft Store to scan.

Kumar, not only I ran the scan doctor many times, reinstalled the drivers a few times, I also did your every of your chatbot recommendations. Without any result. Your scanner doesn’t send the picture to the computer, though it does the hard copying. And apparently your company doesn’t provide any opportunity to fix the program inside the device, only endless circular installation and deinstallation of the computer driver, that is almost just similar to laughing into the client’s face.

If you are able to make a copy on the printer, it means the hardware of the printer is working fine.

 

Did you use the HP Scan and Capture app to check if that helps?

How is the printer connected to the PC?

Are you able to print from the PC?
