Scanning to JPEG format on HP DJ ink Advantage 3545 on Windows 10 64 bit

Result of scanning picture to JPG format is only small part of picture. Scanning to PDF is OK.

Use software on your computer to scan images to the computer.

Method / Option:  HP Scan Extended program

Download, save, and Install:

HP Scan Extended

Location of installed program:

C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin\HPScan.exe

Place the item to be scanned on the printer glass as decribed in the User Guide (Pages 36-37)

Start the program 

Select shortcut "Save to JPEG"

Set the Page Size to one of of following

• Size of the item to be scanned
• Entire Scan Area
• Auto Detect Size

Click / Select Show Viewer After Scan

Set the other options on the main menu page

Click More > 

Set / Verify / Adjust options in each category

Click Scan
