I try to scan to my computer from the document feeder using HP Twain. The scan scrambles the document. The scan comes out with 4 areas. The top inch or so of the scan is the top of the document, then the scan shows the bottom few inches of the document, then the middle half of the scan is blank, and the bottom part is the bottom part of the document again.

 

Does anyone have any idea what may be going on?

Scanning to computer from the glass works. Copying from the document feeder works. So the document feeder works and the connection to the computer works. It is just that combination of computer and document feeder that produces the odd results.
