Hi @roger888 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Connecting your HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One Printer to your ASUS Chromebook for scanning involves a few steps. Please note that not all printers are compatible with Chromebooks.

Check Printer Compatibility: Ensure that your HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One Printer is compatible with Chromebooks. Visit the official HP support website or refer to your printer's manual to confirm compatibility.

Connect to the Same Network: Make sure that both your Chromebook and the HP Envy 110 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Enable Google Cloud Print (if needed): Google Cloud Print is a service that allows you to print and scan using your Google account. Ensure that Google Cloud Print is enabled on your Chromebook. You can find this option in your Chromebook settings.

Connect the Printer to Google Cloud Print (if needed): If your printer is not natively compatible with Chromebooks, you may need to connect it to Google Cloud Print. Refer to your printer's manual or HP support for instructions on how to do this.

Use the HP Smart App (Optional): Consider installing the HP Smart app on your Chromebook. This app may provide additional features and make it easier to manage your printer.

Install Required Extensions (if needed): Check the Chrome Web Store for any HP or scanning-related extensions that might be required for your specific printer model. Install these extensions if necessary.

Open Chrome and Access Settings: On your Chromebook, open the Chrome browser, click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner, and go to "Settings."

Advanced Settings: Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page, click on "Advanced," and look for the "Printing" section.

Add Printer: Click on "Printers," then click on "Add Printer." Your HP Envy 110 should appear in the list if it's properly connected to Google Cloud Print.

Configure Scanner Settings (if needed): In some cases, you might need to configure the scanner settings separately. Check the HP Smart app or any installed extensions for scanner settings.

Test the Scanner: Open an app that supports scanning on your Chromebook (such as Google Drive or the Files app), and try to initiate a scan. Follow the on-screen prompts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
