Scanning two sided documents from feeder

I have looked in this community but do not find the answer.

This is for the HP Envy 6458 on a Windows 10 64 bit operating system.

1. Downloaded the HP Smart software from HP.

2. Snyc when just fine.

3. The scanning menu does not offer two sided scans.

Does this mean that I have to use the glass for every single page to get double sided? Is there a another software available?
There are other links that lead to 404 errors.

I am sorry to read that there is not a software available. Why would HP do this? Other than to downgrade the sale. My HP 4630 series, which is similar, has software that will scan both sides, so HP does have the ability to attach the computer to a software that would do it. I have no idea why they would want to frustrate their customers. I must say that I purchased it, not for a longtime use, was happy with the way it operated, but because of the software issue not being able to scan two sided, I will have to tell people not to buy this. Very frustrated with the whole HP experience, from there being no install disc and having to download downgraded software, battling with a very confusing install language. Sad. Sad. Sad.

I will be returning the printer.

What HP Printer does do double sided scanning?

Works only with ADF and "two sided manual".
