My HP DeskJet Plus 4152 won't scan. Document is on glass. In HP Smart the printer shows as Ready. I click the HP Smart icon and only get this message: "Scanning is currently unavailable. Please select Home to check that your printer is connected and active." It is. repeating this gets the same result. Please, how can i get the scanner to work? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Try to power cycle the printer and then try to scan again. If it still fails, we'd suggest using the HP Scan from the FULL solution software. Download and install from this link:
(It'll work for Win 10)
