Hi,
I can't scan any documents with my HP smart app with my iphone. This used to work in the past but does not work recently and I get a "Printer is not available" when I try. The funny thing is I can print documents without any issues. Scanning however just wont work. I've resetted my router, verified the same network is used, made sure I have the last update on my app, etc. Nothing works !!  And trying to get a solution trough the HP virtual agent is useless. I've already spent way to much time trying to resolve this and I definitely need a comeback from HP on this matter. Poor service !!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App and try again.

 

Are you able to copy well?

 

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
