I am scanning a package of which some pages are double sided and some pages are single sided. So I am scanning as double sided. Is there a way to set the scan to pdf and eliminate the blank pages??

Hi,
A such cannot be done with the original HP Scan software shipped with your printer.
Download and install the HP Scan Extended application below:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Go to Start > All Apps > Hp > HP Scan Extended.
Select Save as PDF.
Click the More > Shortcut on the top right pane
Set the Page Sides as 2-Sided.
Within the Document tab select and check Delete blank pages, then click the Scan button to complete your scan.
Regards,
Shlomi

A little bit of work to find the scan extended file, but got it and it works great! Thank you all! (It would be nice if the printer/scanner program had found this itself as an update. but glad for the Forum!)
