Scanning

I have purchased an ENVY5032 printer. I can not set up scanning on my notebook, the icon appears on the desktop but when trying to open it say it can not find HP Envy5000?

If you have not done so, download and install the Full Feature Software for the printer.

HP ENVY 5000 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver

Click "View all" button to see Windows versions supported (Windows 8.1 is included in the list).

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Once the software is installed, the HP Printer Assistant shortcut icon should display on the Desktop.

Print, Scan, and Fax (if supported) operations are included in the HP Assistant
