Scanning

After upgrading to Windows 11, I started having problems connecting my HP All-in-one desktop computer to my HP printer to scan to .pdf.  Now I have to reset my LinkSys router so the connection can be done.  After that it scans just fine.  But, when I log out of the desktop, I have to repeat the resetting of the router again to scan. All print functions work just fine. Any suggestions??

A couple of ideas

Connections
If the printer supports Wi-Fi Direct and you are not using Wi-Fi Direct,

Check / Toggle the Wi-Fi setting to OFF on the printer.

Dual Band Router

Your Linksys router likely supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz (5G).

The printer supports 2.4GHz.

Make sure the router is broadcasting on both frequencies.

On the router, assign a separately named SSID network for each frequency.

Connect the printer to the SSID named network for 2.4GHz.
