Hi @Ezco,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
First, create a shared folder on your Windows PC where you want to save the scanned files. Right-click the folder, select Properties, go to the Sharing tab, and click Share. Choose "Everyone," set the permissions to Read/Write, then click Share and Done. Make sure to copy the folder path (e.g., \\YourPCName\Scans).
Next, enable file sharing on Windows. Open Control Panel, go to Network and Sharing Center, click Change advanced sharing settings, and turn on file sharing. Don't forget to save the changes.
Now, you'll need to add the network folder to your printer. Find your printer’s IP address from the printer's display by going to Settings > Network. Open a web browser and type the IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.100). Go to Scan, then Network Folder Setup. Click Add and enter the folder path (\\YourPCName\Scans) and your Windows account's username and password if needed. Click Save and try scanning again.
Your printer should now be able to scan directly to the network folder! 🚀 If you need more help, just let me know! 😊
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
Best regards,
