Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am scanning documents and on the scan page the documents are right but as soon as I save them to my desk top every page I save is the first thing I scanned. So on my desktop I have 10 of the same documents but on the page that shows what I scanned they are 10 different documents that I scanned.

I did a bunch of scanning yesterday and everything workedfine.

Thanks for any help

Hi,

You have to move to the next before save and this will give you 10 files for 10 pages. Do you want them to be all in one file don't you ? If yes,  please try

Double click printer icon on desktop,
Select Scan a Document or Photo,
Put the first page on the glass (face down),
Check options (size, dpi ...), and select Scan document to file,
Click Scan - machine will scan the first page
Remove the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click + (plus sign) It sits on the left hand side of a red x
Machine will scan the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click + again ..... to the end then click Save
  Click Done after Save

Or try HP Scan Extended using the following software

     ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10:

(a) Hit Win key,
(b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
(c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"

Regards.

Thanks so much for your help. Yesterday I scanned documents and put them in a folder which would not allow me to email them so I had to attach each document individually. You saved me so much time and frustration!
