We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

New ink cartridges, did alignment and printed page and  scanned aligned. Can print from computer with problem, when I try to copy a page it comes out blank, and thoughts

I understand that your HP printer can print from your computer without any issues, but when you try to copy a page, it comes out blank. Let's work through this together.

Could you please provide the following details?

  1. What is the exact model of your HP printer? (You can find it on the printer or in System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.)
  2. Are you using the flatbed scanner or the automatic document feeder (ADF) when copying?
  3. Have you checked if the scanner light turns on when making a copy?

In the meantime, please try these troubleshooting steps:

 

Check Scanner Glass & ADF:

  • Ensure there is no dust, smudges, or debris on the scanner glass.
  • If using the ADF, make sure the paper is properly inserted.

Perform a Power Reset:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds and plug it back in.
  3. Turn it on and try copying again.

Check Copy Settings:

  • On the printer control panel, go to Copy Settings and ensure the contrast or brightness is not set too low.

Try a Scanner Test:

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your Mac.
  2. Try scanning a document and check if the scanned image appears correctly.
