We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Scans saved as PDFs always produce oversized page dimensions, e.g. an 8.5 x 11 page saves as a 35.42 x 45.83 PDF. Working with the HP app on Mac Tahoe with an HP DeskJet 2855e All-in-One Printer.

This issue has previously been posted BUT no real solution was offered. HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN FIXED because it sure has NOT on my printer/scanner.

There are workarounds. I get that. But we shouldn't have to find workarounds when this problem seems to be inflicting a number of HP models using different Mac operating systems (and perhaps Windows OPs too).

THANKS FOR ANY UPDATE OR SOLUTIONS.

The two workarounds I am now using include: (1) Use Image Capture on my Mac to do the scanning. That works. (2) Scan, then open the oversized document to print (Command + P), set it up with page size, etc., then click PDF at bottom and click to "print" and it should yield a properly sized document.
