Product: Envy 4500
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

My scanned documents are too light.  Despite deep saturated colors--including black--the files all look washed out.  I've updated the drivers and changed scanner settings, with no difference in the results.  Thanks for your help.

HP Recommended

If the glass and optics are dirty the machine will scan light.Even if you make a copy with a good original the print will be light.Clean the glass on the underneath and wipe the scanner assembly with a soft cloth.Reassemble and try again.Hope this helps.
