Set up HP Smart for Two Different Printers

I just got a new computer.  On my previous computer I had two options - one had an icon for my HP Envy and the other had an icon for my HP 8710.  When I changed things over to the new computer, both software were lost.  I went into HP.com to download the software again.  The only think I could find was HP Smart - for scanning, etc.  When I was on one network, I set up the HP Smart for the Envy.  Now I'm on the other network, but I can't set up HP Smart for the 8710.  How do I do that so I can scan from my laptop on either printer?  Thanks for any help.

At least for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 and Windows 11, the Full Feature Software (full driver printer software) is available.

Set Windows / version to Windows 11

Search for and open section "Software-Utility"

Click "See Full Details"

If your Envy printer is supported, the path to the software download package might be similar.

Substitute your Envy Printer model name for the 8710 where ever necessary.

If you had Print and Scan Shortcuts on the Desktop (on your old computer), the "full driver" is likely the software you are describing.

Install a new copy of the Full Feature Software

The installation of the full driver generally adds at least two shortcuts to the Desktop.

NOTE > HP Scan is not installed if the printer does not support Scan.

Open the Printer Assistant > Tab Scan > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable
