Thank you for your HELP.
I am "pretty sure" that the problem is with my LAN. I have three printers on my wireless network. ALL three
printers show the same problem. It would be nice if the problem was with the HP printers because the
"Community" has been so helpful with problems in the past.
I can print to all the printers. However when I try to use "Scan to Computer" or "Scan to E-Mail" ALL the
printers respond alike - - "there is no connection". In other words "computer talks to printer" but printer
will not "talk to computer"
Thank you for being patient with a "learner"

Hi @Soapy1928,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helpKeep me posted.

Was there an update performed on any of these computers?
As the print option is working, download and install HP Smart on your computer and try and scan using the app.
Refer- Install and Use the HP Smart App (Windows 10)
