HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I’m trying to SetUp “Scan to Network Folder” on my HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 to my Mac Big Sur

I have tried the instructions on HP and on the recommendations from an answer to a similar question from 05/2020  which were:

1. Checking System Preferences for File Sharing Settings of the folder

2. Using IP Address or the Computer Name for the Network Path

But I always end up with: “Incorrect Credentials: Check Username and Password”

I hope someone can help me with this

Thank you so much for this! I had a hard time looking for this using the virtual chat assistant. But this worked! I only had a slight confusion with setting up the GMT time but I found my way around it and my network folders are now set up!

You're much welcome @JoRio23, great to see that scanning to a shared folder now works as expected 🙂

Cheers,

Hi there, I followed these details for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 - but it still doesn't work!  Is there something different required on the 8720?

I previously had Scan to Network working perfectly using High Sierra. It stopped working when I switched to Big Sur... anyideas?

TIA.

Toby

I. too, have this same problem on the MFP M578f. I am running Big Sur v 11.4 and I keep getting a message that I am using Invalid login credentials (I am not using invalid credentials).

I have tried everything - Please help!!

This also hasn't worked for me using an HP Officejet Pro9020. I'm definitely using the right network address.
