Setting up my scanner

I have recently unpacked my HP printer scanner and most things worked correctly unfortunately I have had difficulty in getting the scanner to work correctly at this stage it won't take multiple fed paper from the feeder. When I activate scan it only scans on the scan bed and will not take paper from the feeder

Are you using HP Smart to scan?

There is a Source where you can select Document feeder or Scanner Glass.
