Hi @I2R-2001,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can offer some general instructions for setting up the scan-to-network folder feature on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-In-One Printer using a Mac.
- Ensure that your printer and Mac are connected to the same network.
- Open a web browser on your Mac and enter the IP address of your printer in the address bar. You can find the IP address by accessing the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page.
- The printer's web interface should open. Navigate to the Scan or Scan to Network folder settings. The exact location may vary depending on the printer's firmware version, but it's usually found under the Scan or Scan Settings menu.
- In the Scan to Network folder settings, you'll typically find options to configure the destination folder path, username, and password for accessing the network folder. Enter the appropriate details based on your network folder setup.
- Save the settings, and the printer should now be configured to scan to the network folder.
- To initiate a scan, place the document on the scanner glass or into the automatic document feeder (ADF) on your printer.
- On your Mac, open the scanning software or application that you prefer to use. You can try using the "HP Easy Scan" app, which is available for download from the Mac App Store.
- Within the scanning software, select the option to scan from the connected HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer.
- Choose the desired scan settings, such as color, resolution, and file format.
- Start the scan, and the scanned document should be saved to the configured network folder.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
