Check Email Configuration Settings:

  • Ensure that your printer's email settings are correctly configured.
  • Access the printer's control panel, navigate to the "Setup" or "Settings" menu, and find the email settings.
  • Verify that the SMTP server settings, email address, and password are correctly entered.

Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. Without a stable internet connection, the printer will not be able to send emails.

Update Firmware:

  • Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause issues with features like email.
  • You can check for updates via the printer's control panel or by visiting the HP support website.

Email Server Restrictions:

  • Some email servers have restrictions on sending emails from external devices. Check with your email provider to ensure that the server allows emails to be sent from your printer.

Check the Scan-to-Email App:
