Please check the screenshot above.

In short:

 

- The printer and the scanner worked fine via USB (wifi not working and that's another thread)

- I printed a page today and scanned something ~3 days ago

- Today, Windows Scan and HP Scan told me scanner is not found even though the printer is connected via usb.

- HP Smart cannot even see the printer

- Windows can see the printer and allows me to print

 

Factory reset (holding arrow + X, then turning on till "nu" then releasing arrow and X) doesn't help. Removing and adding the device again helps with printing when it stops work (which happens every couple of days) but doesn't help with scannig.

 

Please help. I cannot believe I had to pay for this device. It is HP who should pay me for testing this broken driver and device.
