I have a brand new HP Pavilion laptop (15-EG2073CL). I have an HP Color Laserjet. Thunderbird is my email client for sending scans. I have uninstalled/installed the printer software multiple times now (HP_Color_LJ_Pro_MFP_M277-full-solution-22047.exe). I have rebooted my HP laptop several times after each attempt at trying the fixes listed in this forum to no avail. I even tried the ridiculous registry edits. It's been nearly two hours now and don't know what else to do. It is now August 5th of the year two-thousand and twenty-two! Why is this still a problem?

Yes, Thunderbird is set as the default.
