HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

HI folks, not sure if I've posted this in the right section but here goes...

Using a Mac recently updated to Ventura. I've had an OfficeJet Pro 6960 for years and regularly used the Scan to Computer via the printer itself. Now when I try I Scan to Computer via the printer I get "No Computer Found" error on the printer screen and a message saying to use the HP Utility to "Enable Scan to Computer".

The problem is when I launch HP Utility I get an error message in the app saying "Unable to communicate with the selected device" and I don't see any of the settings.

I've done uninstall re-install of the HP software.

Done Reset the Printing System on the mac.

Installed the latest HP software using HP Easy Start.

Nothing seems to change it though. I still get the same errors.

The only way I can scan is via the new HP Smart app. I want to be able to scan via the printer itself.

Anyone else experienced the same? Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks in advance, I hope!

Cheers, Ben
