I am trying to scan directly from the scanner to my email vs just scanning to my computer.

Try these steps:

Set up Scan to Email:

  • Ensure that Web Services are enabled on your printer. This is necessary for the Scan-to-Email feature. If you haven't enabled Web Services, follow the guide Getting Started with ePrint.
  • On your printer's control panel, touch Scan, then select Email.
  • On the Welcome screen, touch Continue.
  • Enter your email address when prompted and press Done.
  • A PIN will be sent to your email address. Enter this PIN on your printer when prompted.

Configure Scan Settings:

  • Load your document onto the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
  • Touch Scan, then touch Email on the printer control panel.
  • Select the email account you want to use.
  • Choose between scanning a Photo or Document, and adjust the settings accordingly.

Sending the Scan:

  • After adjusting the settings, verify the email information and touch Continue.
  • Touch Scan to Email. Once scanning is complete, touch OK.
  • You can choose to send another email or finish the process.
