My desktop is a Pavilion All-in-One less than a year old with a i7-8700T processor running at 2.4 GHz and 16 GB of RAM.  I currently have a Canon flat-bed scanner connected by a USB cable.  I would like to tackle a large scanning project by adding a second flat-bed scanner (Epson) and running the scanners simultaneously.  The second scanner would also be connected by USB cable.  Is this doable?  What might stand in the way?  Processor speed?  RAM?  Something else?  Any thoughts appreciated.

I have PC with way lower specifications for testing my customer's devices and I have worked with EPSON and HP scanners at the same time working just fine.
