I would like to know how to complete a two- sided scan on my 4500 all in one printer on my Mac?

Hi,

The printer does not support automatic two-sided scanning, however it can be done manually.

 

You may install and use HP Easy Scan from the store:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hp-easy-scan/id967004861?mt=12

 

From HP Easy Scan select your scanner and click the Presets menu and select on Edit Settings.

Set the Scan Type as Document, the Source as Automatic Document Feeder and check the bottom box to scan both sides manually, then click OK and press on Scan.

follow the steps on screen to reload the other side and complete the scan, which will be rearranged accordingly.
