Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I hope someone actually reads this.

 

I have an Officejet 6700 Multipurpose Printer. Up until I changed computers I was able to scan both sides of documents. I would simply click on Scan Both Sides. Now I have a new computer, upgraded to Windows10 (not necessarily a good idea in itself), with HP (questionably) Smart installed, and cannot scan/save both sides of a document in proper order in the same file.

 

Scanner feature works just fine. It's the software, I'm sure.

 

Is there a fix? Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Please try this scan solution:
 
HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDFs w/OCR scans with this free scanning software - https://www.naps2.com/

Honestly, when I got your reply I was ... skeptical. But it WORKS!!! Yay!!

It drives me crazy when simple things don't simply transfer over from one version to another. It confirms my suspicion that the "user" in "user friendly" is usually the developer/programmer.
