Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro M478f

Until today I was able to do Two-sided Scanning via HP Smart -- using the ADF on the printer and selecting "2-Sided". It no longer works. Only the first or odd number pages are scanned and show up in the HP Smart screen. I can still do 2-sided copying and I can do 2-sided scanning to a USB-Drive. It just does not work via HP Smart anymore. I have power cycled the printer and restarted HP Smart -- that does not help. I am using HP Smart version 151.2.1091.0.

 

And - I do own this printer. For some reason when I enter its Serial Number into the "add a product to my profile" is says the serial number is incorrect. And the auto detect software installer crashes.

 

Any ideas what is going on?
