Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When I put a two-sided document in the feeder, it will only scan the first page.  It scans that page repeatedly (even 70 or more times), and then cancels and quits.  I have tried rebooting, reinstalling the printer, reinstalling the drivers, and nothing works.  One-sided documents are no problem.  And I can print two-sided -- just can't scan two-sided.

The printer is OK - the scanner in the printer is OK.

The issue might be a "bug" in HP Smart (Mac OS) - or - (at the least) a currently unexplained error.

HP has been made aware of our reports.

The fix, when it's ready, will likely take form of an updated version of the HP Smart application.

For now, use a different scan software and avoid the issue.

Please try scanning with HP Easy Scan and check if it may provide better results:

Looking forward for your feedback, may you get the expected results with above scanning solution as a workaround or may you see any similar behavior?

Excellent idea.  That worked.  Annoying that they don't fix the bug, but this is a simple solution.  Thanks.

Hi,
