@Jonsnow32, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you scan multiple pages into a single file using your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M128fw with the HP Scan software:

Option 1: Using HP Scan Software (Windows)

If you're using the HP Scan software that came with your printer, follow these steps:

  1. Open HP Scan on your computer.
  2. Select "Document to File" or a similar scan profile.
  3. Click "Advanced Settings" or "More" (depending on your version).
  4. Under File Type, choose PDF.
  5. Make sure the option "Save all scanned pages to a single file" is checked.
  6. Place your documents in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) if available, or scan one page at a time using the scanner glass.
  7. Click Scan.
  8. If scanning manually (without ADF), after each page, the software will prompt: "Do you want to scan another page?" click Yes until all pages are scanned.
  9. Click No after the last page, then save the file.

Option 2: Using HP Smart App (Recommended for Simplicity)

If you're open to using the HP Smart app, it offers a more modern and user-friendly experience:

  1. Download and install the HP Smart app.
  2. Open the app and select Scan.
  3. Choose Document Feeder (ADF) or Scanner Glass as the input source.
  4. Select PDF as the file type.
  5. Enable Multi-page scanning (usually under settings or scan options).
  6. Click Scan.
  7. After scanning, click Add Page to continue scanning more pages.
  8. Once done, click Save to save all pages into a single PDF file.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
