I am unable to scan using my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515.  It was working fine until replacing ink (original ink).  Now printer is working, but scanner gives an error 'Scanner communication cannot be established" - printer connected using USB.

 

Ï used the HP Print and scan doctor, it repeatedly fails at the "driver check".   I also tried disabling firewall, reinstall software, reinstall windows, clean boot but not successful. Scanner.jpg

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 All-in-One Printer wherein you get an error message 'Scanner communication cannot be established' while trying to scan.

 

This issue could occur if the firewall is blocking the scan software or the drivers are not configured properly.
