We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

My printer wont scan nor will it copy directly from the plate. I have tried every solution available on the web, un/reinstalling it, turning it on/off again, software help, anything that robot lady gave me I tried and nothing worked. I need my printer to work for my job. Any ideas?

 

Also, kinda BS that you are unable to get direct support from HP after warranty. Not great customer service there.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to scan or copy

 

Try the below suggestions-

 

Reset the product

 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 

Lift the scanner lid and try and make a copy.

Place the paper on the scanner glass, touch copy, and check if the scanner bar lights up and moves.

 

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware  

 

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
