Hi @Rcmakorwa,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HP ScanJet N6350 is an older model, and finding compatible drivers for Windows 11 can be challenging due to its age. However, there are several approaches you can try to get your scanner working:

1. Use HP’s Support Website

  • Go to the HP Support website
  • Enter “HP ScanJet N6350” in the search bar.
  • Look for drivers or software specifically for your operating system. If there are no drivers listed for Windows 11, try Windows 10 drivers, as they may work with Windows 11.

2. Try Compatibility Mode:

  • If Windows 11 drivers are unavailable, download the Windows 10 drivers from the HP website.
  • Right-click the driver installation file and select Properties.
  • Go to the Compatibility tab.
  • Check Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 10 from the dropdown.
  • Click Apply and then OK.
  • Run the installer to see if it works.

3. Use Windows Update

  1. Check for Updates:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    • Click Check for updates. Sometimes Windows Update can find and install drivers for older hardware.

4. Use Windows Built-in Scanner Tool

Open Windows Scan Tool:

  • Search for “Windows Fax and Scan” or “Scan” in the Windows search bar.
  • Try to see if your scanner is detected by the built-in tool.
  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click Add a printer or scanner and see if your scanner appears in the list.

5. Use Generic Scanner Drivers

  1. Install Generic Drivers:
    • Windows sometimes includes generic scanner drivers that work with a variety of scanners.
    • Go to Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
    • Find your scanner under Imaging Devices or Other devices.
    • Right-click and select Update driver.
    • Choose Browse my computer for drivers and then Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
    • Look for Microsoft Scan Management Devices or similar.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

As a networked scanner you can simply configure a scan to folder location through the EWS of the device. If you are trying to use a twain compatible software package you would need the twain driver here https://support.hp.com/vn-en/drivers/hp-scanjet-n6350-networked-document-flatbed-scanner/3884438
