How can I scan legal sized doucments with Hp Office Jet Pro 8710?  It is not an option in the size of document section.  Frustrated !00%.

You left out your Operating System / version.

What you can do is dictated by the software / application you are using to complete the scan.

In other words, not all features are available using all methods.

 

The odd bits:

I did find a discrepancy in the Specification document as compared to an internal Tech Specs check.

According to the internal document, you can only expect to scan Legal sized paper from the ADF (automatic document feeder).

 

If you have trouble scanning a legal paper on the glass (using Page Size "Entire Scan Area"), then plan on using the ADF to scan this size paper.
