My device - HP Deskjet 2331 Printer. Since I bought it, I was able to scan and convert documents into PDFs using the HP Smart application. But since a few days from around 20/06/2024, HP Smart app does not allow me to scan. It shows "Could not connect to the scanner". However, I could use scanner in other software. I am very very unhappy because of this problem. I request HP if there could be any solution to this problem.

  • Update HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Deskjet 2331 printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix scanning issues.
  • Reinstall HP Smart App: If updating doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app. This can resolve any corrupted files or settings causing the problem.
