Wow,

I am out of my wits here. I got this brand new printer (all is working) except faxing. Well, faxing from the printer itself works like a charm, but from any PC (tried  2 Windows 10 PCs, 1 Linux PC with hp-lip) the printer refuses to accept the query. Yes, yes, I went through all the settings inside the web-gui. In the end I was port-mirroring the switch and listening in with wireshark. Turns out the inital queries do work:

But once the Fax Software tries to spool the Fax via POST to the /FaxPCSend/Job, it all fails:

Truly the printer refuses the connection to Port 8080/TCP on that URL with a 503.  I also tried enabling the syslog of the printer and sending the logs to a logging server. But besides DHCP and Wlan associations there are no useful logs in there.

I tried a lot but the printer only gives me 503. I am running on the latest firmware, CLRWTRXXXN002.2014A.00 from 2020-04.02.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

-Chris.

Hello HP? Anyone? I still need help!

Dont be intimidated by wireshark, the issue is within the printer. So any help enabling the printer to accept faxes would help!
