Until recently I place document on glass, press scan, press computer, press "eds Pavilion", now no

Until a few days ago, I could place a document on the glass, and on the printer window, press "scan", press" computer", press, "Eds Pavilion", press "start scan". and the document would be scanned and sent to my computer. No sweat, no problem. But today, I get message, go to 123.hp.com/setup for software. I have been through that 5 times and nothing changes. I can go to HPSmart and select scan, and do that way and save it to my computer. But it was so much easier the other way and I would like to know what has changed and why.

Thanks for any help.

Ensure that the HP FULL software solution is installed. If not, download and install from this URL:
