We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I had to update my password today for my email and now the scan function on my printer no longer works.    My scans are "from" this email and I need to figure out how to update the password on the printer too.  I'm getting an error Username and/or Password something.  How do I do it?

Hi @Michelle_T,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with scan to email for your Printer.

Tap the Ethernet or WiFi icon on your printer and locate its IP address.

 

Type that IP into a brower on your PC to browse the pritner homepage.

Open the Scan tab, under Scan to Email go to Outgoing Email Profiles.

Press Edit for the required profile and follow the steps on screen by providing the new password only, keep any other setting as is (beside the PIN Code, you may remove it if the browser auto fills it).

 

Once you are done press Test and Save and try scanning again.
