Username or Password are Incorrect - Solved
I just stumbled across this solution and wanted to help everyone. If your email or company email goes through *Google mail*. Log into your *google mail* go to security settings and I think advanced settings and there’s a place to toggle switch that says allow less secure apps to access *g-mail* or something like that. Switch the toggle so that it will allow less secure apps. That fixed my problem.
If needed you can also go through the HP smart app on your computer for your printer and under advanced settings and then scan, scan to email to edit your login email and password. But I played around with this for about 30 minutes until I logged into my **google mail** account and found the “allow less secure apps” to access *google mail* toggle switch, and that is what actually fixed it. It says **g-mail** will automatically turn this off so I guess that’s what it did. I would’ve responded to someone else is post but I don’t think it allows me to respond, only post a new question

This is well documented by both HP and Google, but never hurts to post again as people have this issue a lot and maybe this will help people to find the information faster.
Thanks for posting.
