I click the " Scan" icon on the printer LCD
I get this screen next.
The printer scans fine using the WiFi on my Mac (OS Sierra). If I try using the tiny LCD in front of the Envy 5055 AiO Printer, it brings me to the last screen telling me I need software. I have the latest version 3.0 printer software installed. Everything else on the printer seems to work fine. Only printer to a remote computer from the device does not work. Please advise.

UPDATE: This issue is now Solved
Thank you for the reply. When I saw that the application in your video was different from any of my installed software, I knew something was missing. I called HP support and spoke with John in Manila who is with a very smart tech savvy person who helped me locate the missing software. I had installed HPSmart3.0.pkg but did not see the needed HP Easy Start software. That was found on the support page for my printer at the very bottom of that page. This software installed a very important app called HP Utility which is what I saw in the video you linked to in your post. After that software was installed I was able to reinstall my printer in System Preferences and all is now working as it should. I can now scan to any computer in our home on that network.
Thanks again GreenTurtle for for the initial crumb on this successful rabbit trail hunt for the answer.
