All print jobs work well.  Also, when laying a 1 page item on the printer to copy or scan, the printing is fine.  However, if I have multiple pages to copy of scan from the autofeed, long vertical lines appear on the finished pages.  This only happens when trying to copy or scan multiple pages from the autofeed.  How can I remove this issue?

I would ask that you confirm a few things. If you place a single page in the document feeder, do you get the lines?

 

Is there any two sided scanning going on and if yes, do both sides have lines?

 

Most likely you have debris on the narrow slit of glass to the left of the main scanning glass that is leaving a mark. It can sometimes be difficult to see things like a small bit of adhesive from a post it note but that type of debris will cause scan quality issues. I find that viewing the glass with a strong flashlight can help show contamination.
