We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

We purchased this printer earlier this year, but the warranty status shows expired.   The scanner function does not work well, and we need to get this fixed, or exchanged for a model with a reliable scanner.

 

We have a support case opened for this issue, but have had no communication from HP other than the fact that the case is open.

 

How is the warranty expired since this is less than a year old? 

What is the factory warranty for HP printers?

Is there a way to communicate directly with Support regarding our existing case?

HP simply closed the case that we opened regarding our defective printer, which is less than a year old.  Does anyone know a way to get in touch directly with support?  The only options we're finding for support assistance point us to these forums.
