I am not able to scan anything on my HP Envy 7640 and have tried EVERYTHING noted on these threads. Please help? Did something change? it used to work fine then all of a sudden over the last month or so it's completely non-functional which tells me maybe it's a software-update thing on the HP side that broke something?? Please help!

@prgore, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand web services are not working on the printer.

 

Are you trying to scan to email?

If you have not made any changes to the printer settings, the HP server could be down. Try again after a couple of days.

 

If the issue persists, you may try the steps mentioned in this document - Cannot Connect to Web Services
