I have a landline and I know how to send a fax, have done so multiple times, but I don't know how to RECEIVE a fax.

I have looked for the button that allows that but none is labeled or described as having anything to do with a fax.

One instruction I got says to push the auto answer button. There is no button labeled that. It goes on to say to push the fax or black button. I don't have a button labeled "fax" and pushing the "black" button while the phone is ringing from a remote fax machine only gets me a B & W test/alignment page. I am not trying to align, I am trying to RECEIVE a fax.
