Accepted Solution for me! Yes, "Image Capture" does the job well. I can still use HP Easy Scan on Catalina, if using "automatic feeder" only... if not I get the "Automatic Document Feeder is Empty" error message.

I'm using a MacBook Pro running Catalina. My printer/scanner is an HP Laserjet Pro 200 color MFP K276NW.  it is working as a printer, it appears under printers and scanners as a recognized device.  But it does not appear as a shared device in Image Capture.  Any suggestions?

macOS 10.15.3 (released 1/28/2020) contains the fix for HP Easy Scan.  Once updated HP Easy Scan will be able to scan from the glass or the ADF as normal.

 

Scan to Computer is also fixed with 10.15.3.

 

I did notice that if the printer is in sleep mode, some times an error will be reported.  But if you wake the printer by inserting a page in the ADF or touching the screen you will be able to scan normally.
