What is your experience using and ENVY All-In-One as a scanner?

Greetings.  I have taken on the task of digitizing about 1,000 pages of text related to family history.  I have a flat bed scanner, but won't use it for this.  I am looking for an automatic sheet fed scanner and am intrigued by the All-In-One units, of courser because I am getting a printer also.   Has anyone used one of the HP ENVY printers for a similar volume scanning task?  How is the scanning quality?  How about the ease of getting PDF results?    Thank you!!!

• PDF Creation: HP Smart app (for Windows 10) makes it very easy to scan to PDF with options to save, share, or combine pages.
• Basic ADF Support: Some ENVY models (like the 7855 or Inspire 7955e) include a 25-page automatic document feeder (ADF), which helps automate multi-page scanning.
