Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Hello. 

 

I have an OfficeJet Pro 6970 whose software is up to date. I am trying to operate it from a MacBook Air M1 whose software is also up to date -- it has Monterey 12.1 right now. When I try to open the scanner I am told there is a -21345 error and that it failed to open a connection. I see there has been dialogue on that issue before but there links provided in that discussion no longer work. The general thrust seems to be that I need to update my drivers but I can't seem to work out how. 

 

I look forward to some help. This came out of nowhere and has taken me hours to look into.
