We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When scanning a multi-page document through the feeder, I get the message cannot connect with scanner. This may occur after only a few pages while there are more pages in the feeder or when I attempt to add pages through the feeder. Sometimes it will add pages that way then stop again while there are still sheets in the feeder. My most recent document contained 28 pages. I was able to scan through the feeder 20 of the pages but could not add pages a few at a time through the feeder. I was able to complete the document by scanning the remainder sheets one at a time on the flatbed. Appears to be a problem with sheet feeder.

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 

Your printer supports up to 50 pages on the ADF.

 

 

May I know, how is the printer connected?
